Description
Three Songs of Light was commissioned of behalf of the Mississauga Children’s Choir by Tom Bell. It was first performed on May 13, 2000 at the Royal Bank Theatre, Mississauga, Ontario. The text is based on Inuit poetry compiled by the composer from the book I Breathe a New Song: Poems from the Eskimo, edited by Richard Lewis.
