uqongqot'hwane (satb)

This choral setting of Uqongqot'hwane employs a slightly syncopated version of the original melody, which is repeated a number of times.  As in traditional renditions, there is a gradual accumulation and variation of accompanying textures, although these techniques go somewhat beyond conventional practice in exploring the lively cross-rhythms that are being generated from the exploitation of the click sounds.
