Description
This is a humorous setting of a very funny poem (“There was a serpent who had to sing…”) by Theodore Roethke for SSAA chorus. See also M-06: Serpent (TTBB) and/or S-05 Serpent (SATB). Rhythmic vitality and mild dissonances help to bring the story to life.
