Description
Alberto Grau (b. 1937), one of the leading personalities in the history of contemporary Venezuelan music, composed this lullaby in 1983 for the birth of his son Luis Alfredo and for the Cantoria Alberto Grau, a women’s choral ensemble. He uses a text by the Venezuelan poet Manuel Felipe Rugeles, a poet whose works have inspired many composers. A full recording of the piece can be found on CD-01.
