ain’t no grave (ssatb)
This piece, written by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory, grew out of a traditional refrain which seems to have been popular with gospel singers in the American South in the first half of the twentieth century.
An optimal performance will make extensive use of American Sign Language. A DVD teaching the sign language is available. This piece is also available in ssa.
There is a recording of the ssa version of the piece on CD-07.
