soleram (satb)

Soleram is a traditional song from the Riau Province of Sumatra, an island in western Indonesia.  Strict cultural norms influence relationships between men and women, so young people often flirt with songs, of which Soleram is one. This arrangement, by Ivan Yohan, uses only the beginning section of the original text and should be sung like a lullaby.
