The Gloria is a movement from a larger work, the ''Missa Sine Nomine'' (Mass without a name), which was composed in 2000. The composer states that "the Gloria is predominantly homophonic and opens with energetic rhythmic motives which gradually make a transition into a sweet and tranquil harmonic setting of the remaining text."
