In Flanders Fields is a simple hymnlike setting of the famous poem by the Canadian medical officer, John McCrae, who wrote it in May, 1915 during the second Battle of Ypres in the Frist World War.  The poem first appeared in Punch in December, 1915 and has been a part of the Remembrance Day ceremonies ever since.  This edition was commissioned in 1998 by Chor Leoni under the direction of Diane Loomer.  It is available for men's voices (S-222) and mixed voices (S-223).
