In its juxtaposition of a European chant melody and an anti-apartheid songs from South Africa, this piece is a celebration of diversity.  The arrangement reflects respect for divergent musical styles and points toward our innate (though sometimes neglected) potential for peaceful coexistence..  This arrangement can be performed with choirs of many different configurations: 2 part treble, 3 part treble, ssab, satb, satb + children's choir.
