two konkan songs (satb) (pdf if ordered for entire choir)

There are two pieces in this octavo.  1) Lo Lo Re Babu is a choral version of a piece from Paranjoti's opera The Seventh Nose.  As with most of Paranjoti's work, the melody of the piece drives the harmonic motion.  2) A Konkan Boat Song combines the elements of both European and Indian music.

Both pieces rise from the unique musical traditions of the Konkan, a region of Western India between the Arabian Sea and the Sahyadri Range.  

Note: PDFS are sent ONLY when you order and pay for copies for your entire choir.  We do not send pdfs if a single copy is ordered.   If you need a single reference copy, it will be sent to you via US Mail for $2 plus shipping..
